Kokilla Dutta is a multi-award winning Indian artist and voice trainer based in Toronto. Mentored by the world renowned Padma Shri national award recipient Anup Jalota, Kokilla has found herself for the last 20+ years performing to 100+ shows all over the world at exotic locations hosted by politicians, filmmakers and celebrities. Her successes include Best Singer Award by Bengali Film Association & her album “Anokhee Remix” was an instant hit across the nation. She has rendered her voice to popular devotional songs and Bengali playback music collaborating with celebrity singers such as Anup Jalota and Jagjit Singh. Kokilla provides world class training in basic and advanced vocal,keyboard and piano for children and adults. She has groomed 1000+ students to date, many of whom have won national and international competitions like Indian Idol. Kokilla has taught in international schools of India, Canada and Singapore.Academically Kokilla has attained the highest grade in her graduation in music from Pracheen Kala Kendra. Kokilla has recently launched a music school in Toronto and is inviting applications from aspiring music students of all age groups and genres.
